The world of tank commanding has not been kind to me. But of course, everything else seems to be going relatively well.
Of late, several people on several instances in time have told me that what I do takes an infinite amount of patience. That put into a similar position, they themselves would have acted in a more hostile manner. They would have lost their patience, they say. This might be true, but I don’t see why they would. The people, or more accurately, the young adults that I work with are essentially children. Admittedly, there are some that make me regret my chosen profession but the vast majority of them do make strides to becoming good people. Essentially good at least. Why don’t other people see this? I for one could not tell you.
